I currently attend the university of Alberta as a 3rd year Design Student in the Business and Marketing Route. I practice Industrial Design and Visual Communication Design. I also have some artworks to show. This is what you will see as you explore through the different pages of my website.

Favourite Things
My favourite things in life are sleeping, Phở, fried chicken and my driver's license. As a student, sleep is hard to come by and that's the reason why I covet it. Phở and fried chicken from a certain jolly bee are my comfort foods from my childhood. I'm never unhappy eating them. I also value my driver's license (not driving itself) because it took me two years and so much anxiety to pass my test (I'm still anxious).
Hobbies
​Outside of school work I really enjoy her playing video games on my laptop and Nintendo Switch I also enjoy crocheting and sewing. Because of all my Industrial Design courses, I was introduced to 3D modeling and 3D printing. If I have some room to breathe from all of my assignments, I also like to make model fun stuff with my 3D printer.
Name Origins
Although my name is Marielle, my website and instagram are both called Leyyelle. I made up this name as teenager when I combined the reverse of my mom's nickname for me "Yel" and the ending of my name "elle". In reverse, "Yel" becomes "Ley" and added "elle" to that.
